To make a great ‘thoughts matter’ shift even better, I find that having a great energy shift is also very beneficial.  ‘The whole is greater then the sum of its parts’ – describes my approach of combining other complementary therapies with my core offering of NLP and Hypnotherapy.  Working on both aspects compliments each other, helping each part together. So you achieve the best outcome for you.

We will chat about potentially suitable complementary techniques to support your NLP and Hypnotherapy sessions when we have our initial consultation.

For my in-person clients, you can also book Reiki as a separate stand alone treatment.

The complementary therapies I offer include;

Thought Field Therapy (TFT)

A methodology developed in the 1980’s by Roger Callahan – an American psychologist.  He tested his theory – that when a person thinks about an experience or thought associated with an emotional problem, they are tuning into a thought field, that also relates to the Chinese philosophy of Chi flowing through meridians.  By utilising his prescribed algorithms to tap along these fields in sequence, energy blocks are released. This results in a positive shift in the thought and negative emotion.  By combining this with NLP practices, the negative thought and its linked emotion and the energy of that negative thought and emotion can be changed, lessened, or collapsed.  Win Win!  We will go through these ‘thoughts matter’ friendly techniques and you can incorporate them easily into your self care.

Clinical Aromatherapy

Clinical use of essential oils has physical, sensory and energetic effects.  They can be anti-viral, anti-bacterial, soporific, calming, energising or anti-inflammatory in nature – amongst other attributes.  As NLP works with our senses, essential oils help us shortcut access to our senses, anchoring through the olfactory system.  For example – when you smell cut grass the first time in Spring, doesn’t it make you immediately feel excited that summer is on its way? It does for me anyway!  Well just the smell of that cut grass acts as a short cut trigger to that feel good moment. And I immediately feel an uplift in my state of mind.  Essential oils have these properties too of course, and therefore act as wonderful anchors alongside their other helpful properties. Hence the compatibility of working with both in certain circumstances!

Reiki

Reiki is an energetic healing practice founded in Japan and developed by Mikao Usui.  You can benefit from It’s hands-on method of channeling universal healing energy to improve your general well being. Reiki is an excellent companion when resolving your stress both physical and emotional, giving you time to pause, relax and energetically reset. I trained in Reiki over 20 years ago and am a Master Teacher member of the UK Reiki Federation which is the leading body for Reiki in the UK and recognised by the Professional Standards Authority.
